Behind the Scenes of Your Website.

Everyone knows the Internet is ever changing and evolving.  It is a full time job just to stay on top of these changes.  There is always a lot going on behind the scenes concerning your website in which many of you are not aware.  For example, as a Castlewood Partner, we updated your website approximately 15 times in this past quarter.  These updates are initiated by the updates of various programs and platforms that are being used on your site.

Some companies only perform updates once or twice a year, but when a part of your website is in need of an immediate update, often times it leaves your website vulnerable to hackers.  Although it does seem like there were an unusual amount of program updates this past quarter, it is not unreasonable to estimate that on the average we update our clients’ websites forty to fifty times a year.  And every single client’s website is updated individually.  We do not use a program that automatically updates everyone’s at once.  We have technicians go into your website, update and then verify that the new updates have not damaged your site.  Because every one of our clients’ websites are different, we do not take a chance that an automatic update could cause your site to crash or leave it open for malicious attacks.
